Our Story
At L & M Events, we believe every celebration should be as unique as the people behind it.
What started as a passion project quickly grew into a thriving event hire business, delivering high-quality, handcrafted pieces across Queensland and Northern NSW.Our journey began with our own engagement party, where we restored five wine barrels to create a warm, inviting space. That experience sparked a love for event hire and a vision to help others bring their dream celebrations to life.
Today, those same barrels remain part of our collection, alongside hand-built timber furniture, custom bars, and shade stations, all crafted in-house with a focus on quality and design.
From furniture and marquees to lighting and full event setups, we’re here to make your event seamless, stylish, and stress-free.

She oversees operations, logistics, and client communication, ensuring a smooth experience from booking to pack-down.

A skilled cabinet maker by trade, Mark balances his craft with building and delivering high-quality event pieces.
From handcrafted timber furniture to bespoke bars and shade stations, he ensures every hire item is both stylish and built to last.
